Concrete Mixer without Hopper

One example of a non-hopper concrete mixer is a drum mixer. It consists of a rotating drum mounted on a truck or a portable frame. The drum has blades or fins inside that mix the ingredients as the drum rotates. To use a non-hopper drum mixer, the ingredients such as cement, aggregates (sand, gravel), water, and any additives are typically pre-measured and loaded directly into the drum.
